Hee hee hee! Reliability and low depreciation don't come easilty with
Audis. Anyway, from what I've experienced, the Honda dealer will be your
worst nightmare when you want to purchase the car (or any other "popular"
Japanese cars). A Civic will probably be trouble-free, but it's boring and
butt ugly.

As for then-will-be-used A4, I don't think you may be able to fetch one
for $18,000. Not impossible, but improbable. From the looks of it, Audi
either fixed or pooped on the quality. I don't see much nightmare
scenerios here in the list as many have read in Car & Driver's long-term
A6q (dead trasmission, clobbered windshield, recalled headlight, horrible
Twin Tires, brain damanged drivers, etc.).

For Audi, you'll need a good dealer. Honda dealers are plenty so you can
shop around. Both will probably have ample choices in performance upgrades
(believe it or not).

Hey, what's wrong with pine? I use pine! The other choice is mailx, and
I'm not too crazy about that one.
