I agree and disagree.  How's that for a stable position.  V8's make a lot 
of torque, HP, etc if built correctly, however the basic pushrod technology 
has been around since the 50's.  Minor changes, more emmissions crap, more 
modifications, but the core design is a pushrod based engine.  I have been 
waiting patiently for something awesome to be presented to the industry, 
however probably not in my lifetime until Gasoline reaches $30 a gallon, 
then technology will change (I'm being sarcastic of course, probably $15 a 
gallon <G>).
