There is a manifold pressure sensor in the ECU.   The ECU controls boost, 
and if it detects overboost (more than about 1.5bar) it shuts off the 
fuel pump.

No, we're all well aware that your car has the K-jet mechanical 
injection.   As far as I know, mine is the only 5000 CSTQ with electronic 
fuel injection.
