Intercooler cooling?
Seems there's several ways to get more intercooling for the turbo: bigger
intercooler (not much room in my 200! is there such a thing?), spray water
on the intercooler, or go to some form of water radiator charge cooler thingy
that sounds way too complicated (read expensive).
How effective is the spray of water? Is the additional cooling from greater
heat exchange by a wet intercooler, or does the water absorb the heat when it
changes to steam? Seems like you'd need a lot of water, and at speed it
would be difficult to hit the entire intercooler due to wind. This also
seems like it wouldn't work any better than driving on a rainy day.
Any thoughts?
