Re: High idle until vehicle stops - REALLY STRANGE!
I've noticed that many cars do this (not just Audis). My previous car
(Ford Mustang) held rpms just over 1000 until it got below 5 mph.
Ironically, this is when it needed power steering boost the most, and the
car routinely stalled on tight downhill turns when in neutral. Acura
Integra does this as well...along with my '98 A4.
