V8 mods

Greetings fellow listers,

I've been very interested in adding little more power
to my V8 and supercharging seems to be a 
viable option.

Can anyone suggest any books or magazines to
read up on specifically superchargers as applied
to German cars? A title, author, or ISBN would
be greatly appreciated. 

Trips to bookstores have produced mostly books
about American applications.
