SSSmokin' A8!

I went to Atco Raceway for their Import Drag Wars today.

Driving home, between Exits 9 & 10 of the NJ 'pike, I was
cruising at 80 mph in the center lane when out of
nowhere, a car just zoomed by in the left lane,                          
                                             my car momentarily shaken by
the wind turbulence.

The car was pulling away, then my jaw dropped, it was
an A8! My first sighting, I floored the gas -- my Merc roared
to life, rev pulled to 6k, speedo flipped to 90 then 100
but A8 was becoming a small pearl white dot. The car
must be doing 120 when he blew by me!

Even with my V8q, I doubt if I would have caught a glimpse
of his license plate! My wife who is usually not impressed
by speeding cars had a twinkle in her eyes when we were
trying to chase that sssmokin' A8 today.

So if you are a lister who owned that Pearl White A8 
flying low thru the 'pike today, you just broke my heart,
I now want what you have.
