Sure about which? About the V6, absolutely. Most of the one's I've seen
that have thrown the belt have bent valves. About the 2.3? Not so much. I
was told it was an interference engine, just as the high compression 2.0
four was, but haven't seen a large enough sample of belt failures to know.
The 2.2 turbo was supposed to be non-interference, but most of them bend
valves when they go. I like the advice about treating all of them as
interference engines. Safer that way.
