I just asked our beloved chairman the same question.  The S1 blew up on Friday 
because those "preparing" it hadn't changed the timing belt.  So - no new 
record for Michele this year.
 
If _ever_ there was a lesson about timing belts - it isn't just mileage - it's 
_age_ as well.  A wrecked S1 engine is a very expensive piece of junk.
 
Plus it rained.  In fact, it rained a lot.  An inch of water on top of the 
grass by the Club tent, and several inches in front of Goodwood House.
