Audi scale models

Q-listers,
   Idiot alert.... why do I always have to do things the hard way? I just
spoke with Bob Brown at Clair Audi, he checked the '97 Audi Accessories
book (which I'm dying to get my hands on, btw), and he shows scale models,
in two sizes, for the Cabriolet, 100, 100 Avant, and V8 (all euro
designations according to the book). Bob's going to call around and get as
much information as possible and verify that the 100 is the '92-'95 body
style, and determine if there is a color choice.

  I gave Bob the part number from the SA page (996 099 0041), which came up
bad, Bob mentioned that it looked more like a Porsche number, but it didn't
work there either. Obviously, I'd be more interested in the 100 scale model
as opposed to the A6, but I wonder if the detail would show the difference.
Quoted prices are $16 for the smaller scale and ~$40 for the larger (exact
size yet to be determined).
