Installing a Momo shift knob is easy.  The knob fits over the shifter but has
three screws that must be tightened into the base of the shifter itself.  It
takes about ten minuetes to do.  By the way the sleeve on your shift boot
will be too long for fit, don't worry just saw off a small portion of
sleeve...it won't make any difference even if you want to use your old knob.
 I did it on my 87 4kq with out any problemos........
