Spare parts

I replaced the throttle switch yesterday, paying a small fortune to Audi for 
the privilege.  I shouldn't have done, because I boticed that both the old and 
new have Bosch numbers on them - and I know I can get Bosch parts 60% cheaper 
from Bosch than from Audi.
 
I'm considering setting up a web page to translate Audi's part numbers into 
those of its suppliers.  Not just Audi/Bosch, but Audi/Hella, Audi/Cibie, 
Audi/Teves, etc.
 
I do remember, though, that someone started such an effort on the web a few 
years back.  Does anyone remember what became of it?

P.S.  British Grand Prix day has dawned to _heavy_ rain that looks like it is 
      settled in for the duration.
