Spare parts

Yes.  I remember once buying a rear wheel bearing from Ingolstadt that was
actually made about ten miles from here.  I paid $40 for that bearing to have a 
holiday in Germany.

Let's walk - then we can run.  There's no point making expansive plans if we 
can't get the base data sorted out.

At the part number level, especially for the less critical parts, I think 
there's a great deal of commonality.  I strongly suspect that VAG sell the 
same parts under two numbers sometimes - with different prices for the Polo and 
A8 use of the same part.
