Red paint and spots

I had a similar problem on about twenty cars once, when the janitor at our 
office block turned the lawn sprinklers on too high and the wind caught the 
spray.
 
We sued the office management company for the cost of having the spots 
professionally polished off at a bodyshop.  I don't think the results were very 
successful, and I think one of the cars was eventually written off.
