hi tom,
the euro m3 (evo model) has 320hp (up from 286hp). almost as much as an rs2
;-)
mind you, i take the point, i'd back my ur-quattro against an m3 (pre-evo
model) in 'a' to 'b' real world (non track) driving any day. i've not driven
the evo model, but the e36 m3 (series 1) i found disappointing, darted around a
lot at speed, great motor/brakes/gearbox, but poor steering, and the overall
quality was sh*t. it's one thing having the power, it's another putting it
down....
