This is for the "orange dash" ur-quattro - I don't know if it's applicable in
this case:
============================================================================
Procedure for calibrating tank content - orange dashboard.
a) Empty the tank, and fill with exactly 10 liters.
b) Switch on the ignition, and put the display into metric mode.
c) Switch off the ignition and remove the dashboard cover. On the right hand
side, a piece of tape might be covering two adjustments "T" (the upper one)
and "V". Ease it back.
d) Press and hold the "Reset" button in the centre of the function selector
while switching on the ignition. All segments of the display except the
on-board computer's section on the left should be dark.
e) Turn adjustment "T" until the display shows "70".
f) Switch off and re-assemble.
=============================================================================
Procedure for calibrating range display - orange dashboard.
a) As for tank content steps a to d.
e) Press the switch that disables parts of the display, for two seconds. The
on-board computer display will show the current range setting.
f) Turn adjustment "V" as desired. Make a note of the value before and after
making any changes - in case of error, and in case the dashboard has to be
replaced at any point.
g) Switch off and re-assemble.
