Re: Coupla CQ issues

Just a thought: some dirt/rock caught between backing plate and rotor, or
between caliper and rotor. I had a rotor badly rusted, some paint was
chipping
off and causing noise; have also had dirt/rocks caught between rotor and both
caliper and backing plate ( took backing plate off, scraped/washed clean with

Naval Jelly to remove rust, then reinstalled) that give mild to god-awful
squeal/screech.

 Hi Audiphiles-
 Two things-
 1) Very slight sqeaking sound when driving, so slight infact, I can't
hear it with the passenger side window up, (seems to be coming from that
area of the car, right front) Here's the thing- squeaking goes away when
ever I apply the smallest amount of pressure on my brake pedal?
 Diagnosis anyone?

 TIA
