I have put Blaupunkt 6 1/2" speakers in the front doors (there is just
enough clearance - some of the speaker frame had to be cut) and the rear
deck.  Yes, you'll make your life a whole lot easier if you remove the
rear deck to change them.  I think the stock drivers are 4" and to
remove them you have to unscrew the grill (or is it the ring
underneath?) Personally, I think there was a 200% improvement over
stock, but if I had tweeters in the stock dash location it would sound
even better.  Hope this helps...
