RE: Whistler 1490 on sale

I bought one for $140 last January out of one of those places that
advertise in the back of Car & Driver. Had it shipped overnight. No
problems.

BUT, I wouldn't buy another one. I would buy a Valentine One. THe only
reason I haven't is I live in CA and radar is rarely an issue for me -
cops can't use it on the freeways. 

In my opinion the Whistler 1490 falses too much. The V1 is more costly,
but so are tickets. It's worth the money, from what I hear.
