New Clutch
I just got the clutch installed on Wednesday Night (late), flywheel
machined and finally, Thursday was able to take my Coupe GT out for a
good spin. It did take me about 10-15 minutes to get used to the new
catch point, but now I remember how effortless a clutch should be and
how much fun the Coupe GT is to drive! It is so much fun to hear that
5cyl. sing above 4000rpm. My first and reverse problems are solved (no
outside diff bearing needed) and so my neighbors are not awakened by the
grind into reverse anymore. My wife took it for a spin last night and
came back saying "maybe we don't need an automatic wagon after all"!
Now I can concentrate my dollars on the suspension and exhaust!
