Graham also mentioned this, and I'd like to check it out.  Is there
usually one part that needs to be replaced (e.g. warmup regulator or
thermo (sp?) switch)?

BTW, when poking around looking for this, I found a loose spring under
the assembly that controls the fuel input.  (Throttle?  Anyway, you
turn it to rev the engine.)  I am not sure what it is supposed to do -
looks like there's another spring there in place.  Now I am wondering
if this might be the source of some of my woes.
