Judging by the traders adverts that I've seen in the last few months its
probably the traders selling margin..... seriously, its the recommended
forecourt price of a class 'A' car. That is, a car in good condition, mileage
of 10k per annum, service history, near perfect bodywork etc. Often used as a
base for inflation, watch for phrases like 'fully blown', 'fast appreciating
classic'
each one adds about 500GBP to the price.

Trade in? About half that, 'No call for a car like this, insurance is too
high' 'Parts are too expensive' etc etc.
