Re: '86 C-GT Alternator repair?/short in system?

Hi guys and girls,
Thanks to the almighty list once again. In particular I want to thank
Eric, Phil, Alex, and Huw. All were right in suggesting a dead
battery/good alternator, and by making it seem so obvious they brutally
reminded me that my decision to go to school to become an M.E., and not
an E.E., was a correct one. :-)
I am clueless when it comes to tracking down any electrical problems.
Thus I hope that I have gotten lucky and found and fixed the 'current
consumer' by repairing the wiring of my PIAA combination lights, which
had been severed in a couple of places by either a past accident or a
body shop. Otherwise I'll be taking out and putting in batteries once
again.
