well, that is the breakdown of the parts only...is there anywhere that 
you guys can think of that i cna get better prices, this is important, i 
dont htink that my father will be willing to put out that much money.  
And because i only have liabilty, and they will code this as my fault, 
even though i think that the city is more at fault than me, so the 
einsurance wont pay for me.  My father and i are thinking of taking the 
city to small claims court for the damage, as he is an attourney, we 
wouldnt need to hire one.  what do you guys think.  Any, and all, help 
that you can give is appreciated.

Give Max at AVS a call (360)748-8578.  Just to give you an idea of price, hes 
got a brand new, never on a car, unpainted front bumper for a '90 an up Jetta 
that he'll sell to me for $140, including bottom spoiler.  From the dealer the 
same part, less spoiler is closer to $400!!  I don't know if he has anything 
new for the Coupe, but I know he's got some used ones in his bone yard.  You 
might also ask about the other parts as well, I'm sure he can do better on the 
prices.

I'm actually heading down there on Saturday to get some parts for me and some 
other people, I can inquire about your stuff while I'm at it.

Definately take it to court, especially since you don't have to shell out the 
big bucks for a lawyer, you have nothing to loose except time.  Don't expect 
it to be resolved any time soon.
