yeah i was sloppy.. we were talking about 2 valve heads, of course...
tom made the comparison between the current 8V 2.0 found in current
golf/jettas and the 10V five in various audis..
the 20V five is pretty comparable (specific output wise) to the 16V
1.8 four, and both suffer from a weak bottom end, though it appears
that the non-cat version is slightly better. one of my crazy friends
put euro cams in his scirocco 16V but did not remove the cat.. the
result was that the car was even less powerful than in US trim..
