Advancing the cam is cw looking at the engine from front of car.Just
reember this the engine turns clockwise and you want to open the valves
sooner.So the cam mark must get there before the crank timing
mark.Advancing the cam will improve bottom end response but will hurt
top end response.I have used an automatic cam gear from FRANCO and it
worked great,at rpms below 2000 the cam was advanced 18' and as rpm
increased cam timing was retarded back to 0' turbo response was great!!!
