Re: Driver's Responsibility
I have been patiently reading, grieving, considering, the input of the list
members intiated by the tragedy of Diana's death. It now seems that the
'ranting' is becoming very personal. Part of grief is anger. But this anger
is becoming misdirected. Not only should the very personal posting be done
privatley but maybe not at all if understanding cannot be reached. All the
people on the list who have helped me are sensitive and knowledgeable Audi
owners. They do their best to help each other with Audis and the occasional
time when we must help each other accept our human limitations and grieve
together.
An eight year old girl in our parish was killed this last summer by a
falling tree when a freak and very brief wind storm came up. Where was God
in that case? Was God reponsible? A split second difference between death
and life. I am angry, helpless, and sad. Am I angry at the wind, tree, the
little girl? God? Maybe all of them and more and especially God.
