Regarding the 5000CST

If you remember from a week ago when I asked about a semi-dead 5000CST
(88)... well she runs now.

Now that she runs (turbo feels strong ...), I noticed that it needs a new
auto tranny ASAP.  Slippage is incredible.  I think I can get it to a
mechanic and not much further.

I have not purchased the car yet (for the asking price of ~$350), but was
wondering, from all you q-listers, what an auto tranny replacement
(used/rebuilt/new) might cost for this....

Again, for those of you just tuning in, this is an 88 5000 CS Turbo,
165kmiles, nice shape out and in, and she runs now!  Starts and purrs
nicely, just really can't get out and about in it, or at least no where
fast.
