RE: N VA dealer & S4/S6
One of my last posts before signing off...HBL has had a bad rep for quite some
time, but about a year ago, hired a new Director of Service. I'll be right up
front and say that he is my ex- brother in law, but relationships aside, they
have done great (and inexpensive) work on my 911(my BIL didn't know it was in
the shop, so I doubt he had any influence) and on a neighbor's 200. I would
not recommend taking a V8 there (or any of the local dealers BTW, been to all
of them, none of them knew anything about V8's.)

I'll keep it simple - in my experience HBL sucks. Try asking this question
to anyone on the bmw-digest who took their WMB there and you'll get the
same answer.
If you need a local dealer for parts, try Rockville Porsche-Audi (Rt 355
near Shady Grove Rd in Rockville). For service, try Tischer in the
Autopark in Columbia, MD. I'm also checking out some local independents
(based on advice from other listmembers), which would beat the h**l out of
any dealer.........SLM
