Wow! Is it just me or are many of the V8's on the list experiencing the
same problems/maintanance issues lately?

Well, I have to agree...mine was getting frustrating enough that I sold it
last week and bought a Custom Suburban (Captains chairs, TV, etc.). With the
911 being the new toy, I needed something with more room (and more reliable).
I had traced the latest leak to a tranny hose (someone had posted an SB on
this). I also replaced all the window switches and the fuel pump. Seemed
like a new car (should've been, for the $ spent), but by then I had lost
confidence in the car.

It will still go down in my book as one of my favorite cars of all time
despite the quirks. I've enjoyed this list as well, a great group of people.
I'm sure I'll be back, (I go through an Audi phase every couple of years),
Maybe an A8 next time?
