Airbag recall; possible upgrade scenario

Ok, I asked around about the possibility of a steering wheel upgrade in
conjunction with the airbag recall. The most common response? "Uh, I don't know.
We'd have to research the compatibility through the part numbers....uhhhhhhh, I
just don't know." The most defensive knee-jerk response heard so far? "There are
some *legality issues* to be considered"

Oh, ya, this is going to happen through a dealership. Right! Any chance
Shaumburg is going to move east anytime soon?
