Gary,
I had similar problem on another make.  Bled clutch MC many times with
only imaginary effect.  Turned out to be the organic cluth facing --new
compound adopted for that model.  Warm it was OK (barely), cold I drove
worse than a blond with a learners permit.  Hated it, but it lasted not
too long at the hands of my recently licensed son.  That big tree and
the air time over the embank made the clutch facing irrelavent.  He was
unharmed and is much wiser now and I have three Audi's and a Quantum.
