Putting down rubber...

Easy ... run the motor up to 6k with one side of your foot, hold the brake
pedal with the other side and let the clutch out until the motor bogs.
Semi-sidestep the clutch, get the wheels spinning and plant your right foot
to the floor while "walking" the car out of the hole by modulating the
clutch ... it helps if you run a lot more than stock boost, too. ;^)
BTW, the only time I've ever done this was at autocross events where getting
a good start was critical ... I would never abuse my car like that on the
street but put me on the starting line and I can't help myself! I have
tried to perform similar starts with my Ur-Q but it hasn't got enough torque
to keep from bogging down, especially when it's on race tires.
I seem to recall QSHIPQ once saying that the infamous PDQSHIP could chirp
the tires on the 2nd to 3rd shift! If so, that's what I call power ...
mine's a piker by comparison. For now, anyway...
