May not be burned out. I had this problem several years ago
with my '87 4Kq.  Seems the bulb uses that plastic circuit
board for contact. I found my speedometer light was only
intermittently on. Heat, perhaps due to the bad connection,
had warped the plastic mounting surface. So I found a high
tech solution of carefully and strategically placed
aluminum  foil. No problems since.
