Re: The Apology
Actually, most reasonably modern mail systems default to including the
entire mail message. This includes my Mush setup (BSDI Unix), our
Exchange server (Windows NT) and the Elm on our AIX box. It's up to the
user to pay attention and clip out excessive includes, whether sending
to a newsgroup or a mailing list.
Be vigilant, pay attention, and don't blame the technology -- whether at
the keyboard or on the road!
