     Hi Dave and others,

               Wow! I got back from 9 days vacation in Southern Cali. tonight. 1200
messages to sort through (already getting a kick out of the 5K Tq mod thread)
Totally missed the Blizzard! DAMN!!! This is what I look forward to every year!

Anyway yes, I've got 20 of those (now nonexistent) metal endcap clips holding
my intercooler together. This definitely did the trick as no endcap blowouts for
2 years now with ~16 psi. No, Audi does not sell these little guys anymore-actually
 haven't for ~3years now? What I did is I collected them from wrecked 200 q's '89
and up from junkyards, specifically Santa Fe in Castle Rock. These were from
 already damaged IC's and they (Mike) let me have them for free! I figured 20
 ought to do the trick and so far has proven effective. Stock 200 q's come with
 8 per IC. I put 5 clips down each side of the IC X 4 = 20  Good luck hunting
these down.
