Wiring tracks (was 4ks OXS-system connector problem?)

Years ago, when the Bentley said it was an "official" manual, the tracks
_were_ colored.  At least it was so for the mid-70s VW type ii (bus) manual
i used.  In later manuals (Rabbit, Audi 4000) things deteriorated: the
clear photos got grainy or became line drawings, the tracks became b/w, and
the word "official" dropped from the title.  interesting.
