ENGINE LIGHT

     I recently purchased a 86 5k TQ I ran it for a couple of days on a
friends dealer plate to get the bugs worked out as any used car will
have. When It runs it runs fine... staring is another thing, I
noticed one time when It would not start and Jumped the fuel pump
relay with a paperclip. Further investigation showed a fuse missing on
the top of the relay. The schematics tell me it supplies power to the
cold start valve and goes to the O2 control unit. When I put the fuse
in the little symbol of the engine with the lightning bolt through it
turned on, on the Dash. Does anyone know how the 2 are related. Or is
this just another puzzle I will have to sort through in the 800 miles
     of wire in this Car?

PS its on the bottom, under the fancy computer readout, Not the
     "monitored" one on top.
