I can offer two. John Coughtrie once swapped out an entire Coupe GT wiring
loom in the snow. Cold, but not -15C, and uniquely wet.

And I've just climbed out of the bath after changing my timing belt. It took
me almost twice as long as I'd planned because of the spoiler's blatant refusal
to come off and, once off, refusal to go back. The garage roof leaks, and it
started to rain yesterday morning. I've been lying on my back in rain, oil and
old coolant for seven hours, trying to replace the screws that hold the spoiler
on.
