I apologize if I came across as implying the Amsoil products have
problems. I have no reason to believe this. My only complaint with
Amsoil is my distrust of companies that use the marketing techniques
that Amsoil uses but that is just a personal bias.
I have been using Mobil 1 in my Audis since purchasing my first one and
am very pleased with it. I've also been using Fram filters even farther
back than that with no complaints. Some engines I've worked on have oil
filter bypass valving built into the engine design. Does Audi rely on
valving in the oil filter? If so I'll be looking at a filter with
proper valving. I'm always open to learn someting new.
