Javelina...

In my previous post, it never dawned on me that people wouldn't realize
javelina is properly pronounced "have-a-leena" and not "jav-a-lin-a" ... of
course, it never dawned me that people would pronounce Audi "aw-dee,"
either.  My father still pronounces "Acura" as "a-coor-a" ... mind you, he's
in his 60s.  ;^)
