I didn't mention that this happened at 11:30pm north of Wickenburg, Arizona
on US 93 (in other words, in the middle of f*ck*ng nowhere) and the javelina
wasn't anywhere to be seen ... until he emerged from the bush on the other
side of the road and started snorting at me!  I know when I'm not wanted and
promptly skedaddled.
