If you did this, the ignition would be advanced 7 degrees more than the 
ECU wants it to be until higher rpms at which time it would be retarded 3 
degrees.   That is, unless the ECU ignores the distributor sensor after 
startup.  Maybe Orin would have some light to shed on this.

Maybe.  I'm an ME not a EE, so it starts to get over my head sometimes 
pretty easily. :-)
