Well, in late '72 blasting along the Florida panhandle in my '67 Rover
2000TC I suddenly happened upon a small herd of horses crossing the road. 
Steep dropoff on the right... bunch of horses on the left... I went
straight and ended up hitting an 1100lb Arabian mare.  The owner shot the
horse and I pulled the LF fender off the tire, we traded names and I drove
on.  Next day I found hoof marks across the roof and realized the mare had
reared up just before impact.  Had she not, me and the Rover would have
been cleaned off at about the greenhouse level.  Gulp.

As I think about it... I believe I'll move those Euro lights up on my list
of things to acquire.
