Re: Narcoleptic coolant temp gauge

Before springing the 50 bucks for the new sender, as Andrew said check
the contacts. I have the same problem and installing a used sensor
fixed the problem for two days then the guage became lazy again. In my
case I'm almost certain it's a contact issue.

Similarly I filled the windscreen washer reservoir and the next thing
I know the wash jets have stopped working. I must have just brushed
the connector at the pump to lose what ever marginal contact was being
made. High on my list of priorities is cleaning up as may of the
     connectors as possible.

Fairly basic stuff I know, but it is well worth thinking about before
     buying replacement parts.

     Regards, Mike
