That's possible. I think however based on my not-so-scientific
research, that the Franco cam sprocket could stand to be a little more
radical in its range of adjustment.
Here's why... I have played with advancing the cam one full tooth, and
retarding the cam one full tooth. The advanced cam has slightly better
low end, but the retarded cam has a lot more punch in the top end. It
was my theory that if we could tweak the cam timing for each rpm range,
then we might see some pretty serious gains in overall performance.
I'd like to do it with ECU control of the cam advance. This way, cam
advance would be a calibratable parameter.
