I've been using them for years!

I run the bigger VW diesel filter, since it provides
twice the capacity and twice the filtering media
as the recommended filter!

It takes a real Loooong time for the Mobil 1
to turn a shade darker!

Plus running the larger filter allows almost a
quart more oil in the system!

Zero adverse effects!
