Now my two cents worth.  Most of the ones I've opened have shown a slight dusting of corrosion on the WOT contacts with the idle switch OK.  This slight resistance prohibited fuel enrichment and added boost pressure above the pressure of the spring in the wastegate.  I have found that any WOT switch contacts with over 4 ohms of resistance is not enough of a contact to inform the computer that it has closed.  Therefore open and burnish the contacts and solder the pins for good measure or replace the switch assembly.
