Well, after all the replies our ABS posts have generated let _me_ admit
that while I've driven in a lot snow and with ABS, this will be the first
full winter that I have a vehicle (um, one with lotsa rings on the grill)
that can optionally deactivate the ABS. So I've never before had a chance
to do a fair comparison test of ABS in snow (or other) conditions. I'll
start to do that as soon as Mother Nature cooperates (about 2 days hence,
they predict) and will report my results.

By the way, if any fellow listers are in in central NYS during the test
period, I'll be the black '91 200q comin' at ya sideways ;-) Just kidding,
I'll go over to Griffiss AFB and try to use one of their deactivated B-52
runways.
