Pentosin, or is it?

Hello all:

I've got an 87 5kcsqw with a slow pentosin leak where the hose
connects to the top of the reservoir.  I went to the local VW dealer
for a bottle of G 002 000 and left with a smaller (i.e. cheaper)
bottle of G 002 012 after they assured me it was the same stuff.

Well, before I poured it in I wanted to feel a little more confident. 
So is the G 002 012 the same as the G 002 000, just in a smaller 
bottle?

As for the leak, it looks like I just need a smaller clamp.  There's 
some slack in the hose, so a friend suggested that I could cut off a 
small section and just reattach the original hose.  Any thoughts?
